Hypro 3900-0040 — Driver Gear with Bearing, 1000 RPM, 9000 Series PTO Pump

Hypro 3900-0040 is the 1000 rpm driver (planet) gear with bearing for Hypro 9000 series gear-driven PTO centrifugal pumps. Three are used per pump in the oil-bath planetary gear drive, running between sun gear 3900-0013 and ring gear 3900-0009. It is a 32-tooth, 2.13" diameter gear for the 1000 rpm pumps only; the 540 rpm pumps use the 39-tooth 3900-0039. If the gear case is noisy, the pump has been run low on oil, or you found chipped teeth or a rough bearing when you pulled the gear casing, replace all three driver gears together.
