Raven 063-0159-784 — Feedback Generator, SCS Sidekick Injection Pump

Raven 063-0159-784 is the feedback generator (also called the motor feedback or tach generator) on the Raven SCS Sidekick direct injection pump. It is belt-driven off the pump motor and feeds a speed signal back to the motor control so the console can hold the injection rate. When it fails, the pump runs at full speed and you cannot change pump speed from the console. Raven's test: with the master on and the pump running, unplug the generator cable and read DC volts across pins A (+) and B (-); if it shows less than about 9 volts, replace the generator.
