SCE Side De-Ice Boom (With Raven Valve) — Add-On Lane with Electric Section Valve, Cab-Switched

The SCE Side De-Ice Boom (With Raven Valve) adds a lane to our Single Lane De-Ice Bar and puts that lane on its own Raven electric section valve, so the driver turns the side lane on and off from the cab with our SCE Switch Box with Wiring. That is what you want on public roads: run the main lane only in traffic, open the side boom for shoulders, turn lanes and wide spots, and put one on each side for three-lane coverage with every lane independently switched.

How it works

Each Side De-Ice Boom bolts to one end of the Single Lane De-Ice Bar and adds a second lane of coverage on that side: one boom for two lanes, one on each side for three. The spray manifold is grey PVC with six nozzles, plumbed to tee into the bar's feed. Tips are sized to match your main bar so the lanes get the same rate.
